On February 15 & 16th, Joseph Tortorelli of CanmetMINING’s Critical Minerals Secretariat attended the International Organization for Standardization’s first meeting of the International Workshop Agreement (IWA) process on Sustainable Critical Minerals Supply Chains. The aim of this process is to foster global collaboration to support effective and efficient industry activities to meet increasing demand for critical minerals, while simultaneously upholding sustainability principles. This meeting within the IWA process explored a range of available tools to improve sustainability outcomes.
